The Role:
- TasEquip provides essential basic medical equipment on loan to vulnerable Tasmanians.
- Primarily an asset cleaning role, there are also elements of basic service and repair to a range of equipment.
- This permanent part time role plays an essential role in the smooth running of the service
The successful applicant will have:
- strong attention to detail, and willingness to work
- sound manual handling skills
- a range of practical repair experience

The Team:
TasEquip North is a small, but dynamic team that work together to make things happen.
Details of appointment:
Permanent, part time, day worker position, working up to 38 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary:
$71,661 to $77,455 pro rata per annum + our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
Allowances:

Applicants should note, the following criteria are desirable:
- Completion of Certificate III in Asset Maintenance (Cleaning Operations) or similar and/or previous cleaning experience preferably within a healthcare setting
- Completion of Certificate III in a mechanical repair, welding or similar and/or previous repair/maintenance experience, preferably within a healthcare setting
- Current Driver’s Licence
