What You’ll Do
- Design and maintain comprehensive system architectures aligned with current and future mission needs
- Develop high-level system design diagrams and technical documentation
- Evaluate technical alternatives and recommend system upgrades and enhancements
- Ensure compliance with open architecture standards, including:
- OSI and ISO reference models
- IEEE Open Systems Environment (OSE) reference models
- Define and govern requirements for APIs and external software integrations
- Ensure the operating environment remains compliant with applicable standards and policies
- Analyze workflow, organizational, and planning challenges and develop effective corrective actions
- Provide architectural guidance and thought leadership across stakeholders.
