The Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating leads, scheduling appointments, and preparing presentations for local healthcare facilities in Boston and Upstate New York. They will educate them on the staffing solutions ShiftMed offers, negotiate terms and contracts and be responsible for territory growth. About your role:
- Perform prospect visits, virtually or in person to skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and other potential partners to educate and inform on ShiftMed staffing services
- Attend community networking events to create additional business relationships
- Keep abreast of trends in the industry and identify new opportunities for ShiftMed
- Prepare presentations using ShiftMed marketing materials
- Field Referral calls and discuss opportunities that are brought to ShiftMed
- Negotiating terms and contracts with partners
Experience:
- Local in the field position required to live in Boston and 30% travel to Upstate New York
- 5+ years Sales experience, Post-Acute experience or related healthcare experience is a plus
- Proven track record of exceeding goals
- Strong experience in business development knowledge
- Intuitive, good listener, strong communicator, solution-oriented, driven
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Detailed-oriented, flexible, self-motivated, and a team player
- Ability to adapt to changing assignments and multiple priorities
- Process-oriented, results-driven, and able to learn and utilize our proprietary software
- Excellent customer service
- Connections and experience working with the top Post-Acute Brands is a plus
