This role is a key enabler to drive Cardiac Surgery’s strategic imperatives around growth, profitability, and long-term stability. As the Sr. PD Program Manager, you will deliver improvements in Customer Supply, Value Stream Optimization and Operations Sustaining (RPM) with priority on accelerating supply recovery for the Cardiac Surgery Operating Unit. There will be heavy involvement in Sales & Operation Execution (SOE) and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes and close partnership with GO&SC functional partners in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Supply Management, and Supplier Quality to maximize supply health for our patients. This leader will also engage in RPM projects and strategic initiatives across Cardiac Surgery value streams.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
• Leads or leverages cross functional teams to evaluate, develop and manage projects for new product development and ongoing lifecycle management of products, processes and therapies.
• Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
• Manages the development and implementation process of a company’s products and services involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products and processes.
• Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
• Monitors the project from initiation through delivery.
• Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
• Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
• Gathers requirements, works on requirements planning, requirements elicitation and requirements management to ensure they meet demands of project’s key stakeholders.
• Communicates with stakeholders, obtains stakeholder engagement to ensure the end products or processes will solve the business problems

         

         

Must Have: Minimum Requirements- To be considered for this role, please ensure the minimum requirements are evident in your applicant profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in quality or engineering OR an Advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in quality or engineering.


Nice to Have:

  • Hands-on experience managing and resolving backorders in a complex supply chain environment.
  • Strong team leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor cross-functional team members at multiple levels.
  • Ability to understand key concepts and communicate with business stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills, the ability to perform under pressure, and to manage multiple priorities with competing demands.
  • Strong analytical, data processing, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business goals and metrics into business process outcomes and related business cases for specific projects.
  • Experience building relationships with key internal and external customers based on trust and confidence,
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience developing and implementing change initiatives requiring collaboration and influence management skills.
  • Project management expertise/certification.
  • Lean/Six Sigma belt certification.
