POSITION SUMMARY

• Maintains safe and secure environment for patients, visitors and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel. Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures. Controls traffic by directing traffic. Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Education
• High school diploma or GED.

• Must successfully pass criminal background check.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Knowledge of investigative procedures, de-escalating violence, facility security, infant/child abduction and protection mechanisms.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. • While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts; in high, precarious places; in outside weather conditions; and with explosives and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, extreme heat, risk of electrical shock, risk of radiation and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
