Your Opportunity
This role exists to bring focus, structure, and momentum to People projects. You’ll design and drive end-to-end delivery of high-impact employee experience initiatives, making sure work actually lands — on time, clearly, and with measurable outcomes.
You’ll work across the People team, turning problem statements into scoped projects, and helping the team move from activity to impact. The role will own the delivery of some enablement work, ensuring full understanding of the most critical processes within People Ops (such as Performance Management), so that we can design our approach with care and deep awareness of how we can improve.
What is your job?
Lead the end-to-end planning and delivery of People products and programmes, from initial brief through to rollout and adoption
Translate ambiguous People challenges into clearly scoped projects, defining objectives, timelines, milestones, and success metrics (e.g. Performance Assessment, Compensation, Career Frameworks)
Design and run user research programmes to inform People initiatives, ensuring solutions are grounded in employee and manager needs
Own and operate 12-week delivery cycles, tracking progress against defined outcomes and adjusting plans as needed
Partner closely with the People team, managers, senior leaders, and external partners to align on priorities, dependencies, and delivery expectations
Develop and maintain clear, lightweight artefacts including project plans, documentation, communication plans, and decision logs
Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and blockers, driving timely decisions and escalating where required to keep work on track
Own delivery of selected People enablement initiatives, building deep understanding of core People Ops processes to improve how they work in practice
Support the prioritisation of People work, helping the Team Lead focus capacity on initiatives with the highest organisational impact
Ensure People projects land with clarity, consistency, and strong adoption, reducing rework, confusion, and inefficiency across the organisation
Continuously assess and communicate project impact and outcomes, helping the team move from activity to measurable results
Who we are looking for:
Proven experience in project or program management within People / HR / organisational design contexts
Strong understanding of People programmes such as performance assessments, compensation, and career frameworks
Experience working in fast-growing startups or scale-ups, comfortable with ambiguity
Ability to translate unclear problems into clear scopes, timelines, and outcomes
Hands-on experience running sprint-based delivery cycles and managing cross-functional dependencies
Experience designing and running user research to inform People initiatives
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across People, leadership, and managers
Highly proactive, outcome-oriented, and confident pushing for decisions and prioritisation
Available for an interim / fixed-term engagement
