Seasonal Facilities Attendant

Description

The Facilities Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the facility and the grounds and performs maintenance and repairs as directed by the Facilities Coordinator.

JOB SUMMARY

1. Maintains facility to include painting, changing bulbs (interior and exterior), minor plumbing repairs, minor electrical repairs (replacing switches, outlets, etc.), repairing walls, snow removal, among other duties as directed. 
2. Cleaning duties include stripping/ waxing floors, cleaning the floors in the warehouse, and bailing cardboard. 
3. Assist Stores and trade shows, including building props, as directed. May travel to stores and perform repairs and perform cleaning on an annual basis.
4. Drive company vehicles to complete errands as directed by supervisor.
5. May be required to work in excess of 40 hours per week periodically as business needs require, including weekends as necessary.

Requirements

 Expectations     

1. High school diploma or equivalent experience required. 
2. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and to stand for several hours at a time, and the ability to climb ladders/stairs, twist, bend, squat, and kneel.     
3. Experience with maintenance: minor electrical, painting, and basic carpentry required. 
4. Must have a valid driver’s license with no restrictions.
