This position will particularly suit candidates who are willing to develop new, long-term, scalable projects that fits within the remit of the lab.
You will be responsible for:
Development of an independent research direction within the interests of the lab that should use the local expertise and technology
Writing up manuscripts, communicating results through talking, presenting posters at scientific meetings
Collaborate with internal teams and external collaborators to ensure project progress and provide regular updates
Taking an active part in your development, including attending training and being an active member of our Postdoctoral Fellow community
About You:
You should have, or will soon have, a PhD in computational biology, molecular biology, genetics, or biochemistry.
You will have flexibility within the role to pursue an independent research project in the general remit of gene expression and the lab. Candidates with interest or experience in machine learning, artificial intelligence and programming are encouraged to apply.
