Laundry Attendant - Seasonal

Description

VTrips is seeking a Laundry Attendant to join our team. The Laundry Attendant will be responsible for processing laundry, including sorting, washing, draping, folding, ironing, and organizing linen. This individual will ensure that the cleanliness of all linens is maintained by the department at all times.

 This is a seasonal position that is expected to end on or around September 15, 2025. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Proactively audit departure cleans and assure an accurate bag is packed for the cleaner pick up
• Sort, fold, and pack laundry bags with appropriate clean linens for daily/weekly transport
• Document stained linens 
• Assist in loading and unloading linen deliveries

Weekly Responsibilities:

• Pack and load par levels of loose linen
• Assist GET with packed bag audits, loose linens, amenity levels, cleanliness of warehouse
• Order materials for the following week

Monthly Responsibilities:

• Meet with WOM to discuss challenges and opportunities
• Any other tasks assigned by supervisor

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Commercial laundry experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Physical/Mental/Environmental Demands:

• Sitting – 5%, Walking/Standing – 95%. Required to stoop, bend, stretch, twist, and reach. Regularly lift 35 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs. Must be able to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Organize and multitask.
• Exposure to and working with household chemicals. Moderate to heavy noise level when equipment is operating.
