Why this job matters
The Commercial Principal leads large and complex contract processes, negotiating some of the highest priority deals across the BT Group’s services and product portfolio, managing risk and controlling cost.
What you’ll be doing
- Contributes to the commercial strategy, creating the P&L and commercial outcomes of high value complex bids, managing the overall commercial risk and return of the bid.
- Leads the continual review and assessment of pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness using benchmarking and other comparable bid information.
- Leads successful outcomes through partnering alongside customers and sales teams on contracts.
- Leads stakeholders in the resolution of high priority, high-risk contract related issues and challenges.
- Leads key customer commercial negotiations as a key contact through contract processes.
- Leads the implementation of continuous improvement opportunities to improve the commercial trading & management team processes.

Flexible Working
BT have moved to a hybrid working model - you can work from home 2 days per week. This means you’ll be at your contractual location 3 days a week.
