Job Description:

What will you work on?

The HR Generalist is responsible for HR interaction; employee relationship, maintain core HR data and files in compliance with local regulation or Spin Master internal processes and policies, administration of HR systems, offer support and coaching to line managers and employees on HR related queries and matters, performance, talent management and development.

This role reports to and works closely with the Director, Human Resources and supports the HR EU team with Workday-related activities. The HR Generalist also participates in HRIS modules implementation, communication and training up to full adoption in partnership with HRBP and COE teams to ensure delivery of HR transactions needed from all during their professional lifecycle are met.

The HR Generalist is also responsible for data maintenance of Workday HRIS, including also strategic activities and process improvements, operational tasks and system entries and Workday related training and communication.


How will you create impact?

  • Guides management teams and employees actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines; communicating and enforcing organization values.
  • On-boarding/off-boarding of employees and ensuring HR policies and new hire training is completed in partnership with the Talent Acquisition team
  • Manage and maintain all Workday data for all employees, creative centers, functions in Europe (entry, modification, terminations, new process, updating documents, etc…)
  • Facilitating human resources processes related to Workday, payroll, benefits, training or others
  • Processing Invoices and PRs in SAP for EU HR initiatives
  • Job description process management
  • Partner closely with IT for all onboarding requirement when/if necessary
  • Support and organize Employee Events & Initiatives (e.g. Health Day/Wellness Day, Employee Initiatives and Events) organization
  • Prepare accurate reports of key metrics: headcount, attrition/turnover, absences if required and needed
  • In partnership with people Managers develop training programs to ensure building a strong organization, bringing new ideas for implemented training programs
  • Coach Managers/Team Leaders to attract, retain and develop their workforce bench
  • Provide all Payroll related information and documents to Payroll Specialist
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition team in Recruitment processes as needed
  • Provide Trainings to employees and Managers for any new implemented tool/process
  • Coordinate communication with employees as needed
  • Supporting Director HR in any administrative tasks or requirements

What are your skills and experience?

  • Experience with Workday strongly preferred, or another HR Information System
  • Bachelor/University Degree in Human Resources Management or related discipline is and advantage
  • +3 years’ experience in Human Resources, as HR Generalist or in a similar role
  • Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent technology skills; proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Proactive, results oriented and good judgment
  • Able to recognize and react appropriately to confidential situations
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy, attention to detail and timelines
  • Able to effectively manage multiple priorities
  • Attention to detail, decision making skills, good judgment
  • Reliable with patience and professionalism
  • Professional manners
