Job Details

This posting is for PCNAs interested in part-time and full-time openings at Fairview Hospital.
-Part-time PCNAs will work 24 hours weekly, including rotating weekend and holiday requirement.
-Full-time PCNAs will work 36 hours weekly, including rotating weekend and holiday requirement.

Available Shifts:

Days - 6:30am - 7:00pm

Nights - 6:30pm - 7:300am

PCNA – All Units. Including, but not limited to, Oncology & Women's Health, Med/Surg + Telemetry, Emergency Department, Progressive Coronary Care, Cardiac ICU, Neurology/Stroke, Post-op, and more!

MUST BE ABLE TO ACCOMODATE A TWO-WEEK MANDATORY ORIENTATION DURING YOUR FIRST TWO WEEKS OF EMPLOYMENT 

A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

  • Provide or assist with patient care under the supervision of an RN. Patient care may include vital signs, weight, assisting patients with personal care and activities of daily living, patient transfers/transport, pulse oximetry, point of care testing, dressing changes, applying external monitoring devices and removing urinary Foley catheter.  

  • Report abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to an RN.  

  • Assist with keeping patients’ rooms clean and orderly.  

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • A high school diploma or GED.   

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: 

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA). If you do not hold this certification, you must obtain it during your new hire period.  

  • State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA).

  • Nursing students: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA
