Job Description

Candidate will work closely with Front-end module design team in development course of front-end module development. Candidate will evaluate and optimize product performance in R&D lab environment, then analyze test data and feedback to design team. This opportunity brings extensive exposure to DVT lab test setups and equipment (for example, network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, power meter, tuner, etc.,). Operating RF test equipment and test software is required to perform the job responsibilities. The candidate needs to be equipped with RF fundamental knowledge and basic understanding of power amplifiers/LNA.  Familiarity with Allegro Viewer, MATLAB, C/C++ or equivalent programming languages is preferred; proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Candidate needs to be able to adapt to fast-paced dynamic work environment and assignment.

Job responsibilities:
1.    Evaluate RF parameters like Gain; PAE; IP3, P1dB, Noise Figure, S-parameters, receiver band noise, stability, ruggedness, etc.,
2.    Validate DUT performance across various test conditions (for example, voltage supply, temperature and process)
3.    Compare performance and trade-offs between different design variants. Work with design team to understand the correlation/discrepancy between design and measurement data.
4.    Perform debugging tests when requested.
5.    Plot and summarize test results and present to cross-functional teams.

 

 Job Requirements:
1.    Solid RF fundamental knowledge.
2.    Familiarity with Allegro Viewer, MATLAB, C/C++ or equivalent programming languages is preferred; proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint is required. 
3.    Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
