Compensation Range

The base pay scale for this position is $33.14 - $34.13. In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The hiring range listed is a good faith determination of potential compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.

Medical Assistant- Long Island Outpatient Center: Uniondale, NY

Pre-surgical Screening & Physician Practice

Monday – Friday (7:30am - 3:45p.m.)

 

Working under the supervision of a MD or Registered Nurse, you will provide care to patients in our modern, newly constructed physician office setting.  Begin your workday by walking through an art gallery at the Omni Building.  Finish the day in close proximity to museums, restaurants, shopping, and universities.

Our core values center on respect, consideration, compassion for all individuals and maintaining awareness of diverse cultural and religious beliefs.  Your ability to promote the highest standards of patient safety and respond to patients and families with consideration and compassion is critical to the mission of HSS.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) and be a Certified Medical Assistant
  • 2 years experience as a Medical Assistant/Nursing Technician/EMT or Military Corpsman with minimum 1 year experience in orthopedic practice or other surgical subspecialty in an ambulatory setting.
  • BLS Certification
