Job Description:

Job title: Senior Margin Analyst
Location: New York Metropolitan Area / Lake Mary, Florida

Job description: TD Prime Services is seeking an experienced candidate that will support the daily functions of the Margin Operations department. The role requires someone who will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and communicate effectively. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and have a collaborative mindset to work as part of a team. As a member of the margin team the candidate will monitor and maintain prime brokerage and equity swap portfolios.

Responsibilities:
• Work independently and cooperatively with other members of the Margin team to ensure House Risk, Portfolio Margin and Regulation T margin calculations are met in a timely fashion.
• Review, validate and issuance of the daily margin calls for Prime Brokerage and Equity Swap clients.
• Facilitate and approve client asset transfers in and out of the firm using proprietary firm systems.
• Escalate violations and unresolved margin deficiencies to Margin Management, and risk partners.
• Work with Credit and Risk teams to implement the firm Margin policy, provide metrics and trend analysis on Prime brokerage and equity swap client portfolios.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Economic or Finance

• 5-7 years of experience in Prime Brokerage Operations

• Experience and knowledge of Margin financing platforms including Regulation T, Portfolio Margin, Arranged Financing and Equity Swaps

• Knowledgeable in FINRA 4210 strategy based and portfolio Margin risked based margin regulations.
• Analytical thinking and reasoning skills, basic problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills

• Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication skills

• Microsoft Suite skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Ability to work cross-functionally and in multiple work styles
