Description

The UM-Flint School of Nursing is seeking to hire an adjunct clinical lecturers for winter to co-teach NUR 525 (Management of Acute and Chronic Problems - PRACTICUM). Adjunct lecturers will work in collaboration with lead faculty. The winter 2026 semester begins on January 5, 2026.

Course Description: Holistic application of critical thinking skills using nuring and transcultural theories, the concepts of physical, behavioral, and psychological sciences, in addition to evidenced-based medical decision-making processes in the diagnosis, treatment and management of common acute/chronic problems of the adult will be covered in this course.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Nursing;

Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner, an Adult Nurse Practitioner, an Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner;

Registration to practice nursing in Michigan with an unrestricted license or eligible to apply.
