Center for Leadership and Ethics
The Center for Leadership and Ethics (CLE), operating within the McCombs School of Business, plays a key role in shaping the next generation of leaders who will change the world – in business and beyond. Our purpose is to enhance the full arc of the McCombs journey by providing meaningful co- and extra-curricular experiences that engage students in our mission to transform lives and apply our concepts beyond the classroom. The CLE amplifies students’ leadership development at McCombs, strengthening a wide range of capabilities that drive success across the range of industries and professional roles in which students work post-graduation.
This benefits-eligible position is a part-time (20 hours per week) fixed-term role that has an expected end date of August 31, 2026, with the possibility of an extension.
Purpose
The Senior Administrative Program Coordinator will lead the daily operations of a new high-impact campus-wide undergraduate leadership program that is housed within the CLE. The Coordinator drives the program toward its vision and objectives, in close collaboration with the program creator and the CLE Faculty Director. Success in this role requires strong program management and interpersonal skills.
Key activities include: operational oversight of an extra-curricular leadership program for cohorts of 40 students; planning and executing signature events and weekly program meetings; coordinating with executive guest speakers; tracking and reporting student engagement and impact; and managing relationships with campus leadership, executives, students, and faculty.
Responsibilities
- Plan, estimate, organize, and monitor a set of activities for the program. Conduct regular and ad-hoc program reviews with CLE leadership.
- Oversee financial management of all program activities. Prepare program budget and control expenditures in accordance with budget allocations. Review current program budget and prepare activities for future program cycles.
- May hire, train, and supervise student workers.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and five years of experience coordinating or administering a program.
- Experience in project or program management, budgeting, impact tracking and reporting.
- Experience prioritizing efforts within multiple, ongoing projects; and independent decision-making and problem-solving.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and a proven record of accomplishment in communicating effectively to a wide variety of audiences.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills and experience interacting with multiple stakeholders (e.g., campus leadership, corporate partners, faculty, staff, and students).
