About the role
Overview
MUST BE US CITIZEN. SELECTED CANDIDATES WITHOUT REQUIRED CLEARANCE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION.
- Tier One Technologies is seeking a Mainframe Production Support Operator to support our US Government client.
- This will be a hybrid or 100% remote Contract-to-Hire position.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for supporting a large Mainframe payroll application.
- Candidate will be trained under 1st shift and then move to 2nd shift for full support.
Qualifications
- Must have a general IBM Mainframe knowledge and 2-4 years of related experience.
- Prior experience scheduling and executing batch schedules.
- Ability to work 2nd shift (02:00 PM - 10:00 PM).
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
- A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is a plus.
