Salesforce is in search of a dynamic Event Senior Analyst who thrives on driving integrated marketing and events. Joining the Public Sector Field Events Team means being part of a mission to position Salesforce as the global CRM leader, creating impactful moments that fuel growth and lead generation in collaboration with cross-functional partners such as leadership, sales, product, strategic events, field campaigns, PR, customer marketing, brand, and sponsorships.
As an Event Senior Analyst, you'll be instrumental in shaping the strategy and execution of Industry 3rd Party, Salesforce Ancillary, & Field Led events across our Public Sector Portfolio. We take pride in supporting the success of organizations and governments worldwide, spanning diverse industries and sizes.
Under the guidance of the Field Events Senior Director, you'll spearhead the planning, development, and management of logistics, vendors, budgets, and strategies for a variety of events, including 3rd Party, Industry, and Salesforce Proprietary events. This includes Ancillary and Executive Events at World Tours and Dreamforce.
Strong communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proven track record of collaborating seamlessly across different business units and with various cross-functional partners are essential for success in this role. Along with the ability to translate post-event analytics and data into reports for leadership and recommendations for future events.
Role responsibilities include: What impact will the candidate make?
- Proven ability to own an event from concept to execution and drive all aspects of event implementation, managing onsite logistics and production, as well as seamless management of vendors and agencies.
- As a subject matter expert, I liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless attendee journey that resonates with key stakeholders and is threaded through all event touchpoints, making adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to build strong event support teams and meet deliverables. Act as the project manager and single source of truth for all team members throughout a project's lifecycle.
- Maintain individual event budgets with accuracy and financial compliance.
- Provide clear direction to a project team that is not a direct report; motivate people to see the vision of the event and achieve goals as a team.
- Ability to drive registration acquisition strategies that drive critical return on investment.
- Outline business impact metrics based on the goals outlined for each experience. Translate post-event analytics and data into reports for marketing & sales leadership and recommendations for future events.
- Present pre-event briefings to executive and sales leadership and broader teams to ensure everyone is properly prepared for the event(s) and understands key results.
- Stay ahead of the latest innovations in the industry.
- Manage multiple, complex timetables successfully in a collaborative and extremely fast-paced environment.
- Manage external relationships (agencies, vendors) and work with cross-functional internal teams; creative services, interactive, and marketing ops, which support direct efforts and collaborate closely to develop and successfully execute programs.
- Demonstrate the ability to lead, influence, and work across organizational boundaries, including a broad range of peers and executives.
- Research and report creative event options, off-site venues, and entertainment based on program format and budget.
- Create pre-event planning decks and post-event summary decks for all stakeholders.
- Maintain the event calendar and team/staff schedules.
- Understand the Salesforce brand and product positioning with the ability to ensure consistent, on-brand messaging.
- Coordinate internal and external meetings—including but not limited to team meetings, full staff meetings, vendor meetings, etc.
