As a Security Professional - Shopping Center - Morning Shift in Elmont, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a dynamic retail and mall setting. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols across assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help deter potential security-related incidents, and offering outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. You will also serve as a welcoming presence, assisting visitors and staff with inquiries and maintaining open communication to address any concerns. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns within the location.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas as required by site-specific guidelines.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including providing guidance to individuals in the location.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and on-site personnel to promote a secure environment for all occupants and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
