Job Description:

We are looking for a dynamic Field Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for our Public
Sector SLED business unit to set strategy, establish thought leadership, act as
Zscaler’s technical executive sponsor with the largest healthcare providers, and
make technology decisions on behalf of the organization.
Working directly with the Public Sector leadership team, you will act as both a
technology and business expert, making decisions impacting current and future
operations and engaging with key customer executives inside of large SLED
agencies across the US.   As the SLED CTO, you will oversee all technology and 
technological resources, and establish the technology vision, strategies, and growth
plans. For this role, we are seeking expertise supporting a growth strategy by
expanding existing customer relationships, acquiring new logos, developing new
business opportunities, and cultivating partner relationships.  
Responsibilities
● Providing technical leadership and serve an integral role within the
SLED GTM team in a customer facing capacity
● Developing objectives and strategies for the implementation of innovative
solutions within SLED while optimizing existing systems, applications,
and information
● Making recommendations and present business advantages for technology
initiatives and improvements
● Designing and leading the implementation of our SLED strategy for
our GTM team.
● Advocating and communicating technology capabilities internally and
externally, including leadership, customers, partners, and vendors
● Sharing information and developing a collective understanding of programs
and issues.
● Making technology-related recommendations supported by data for policy
adoption that includes analysis of current regulatory actions, technological
innovations, and fiduciary considerations. ● Conducting research to remain up-to-date and knowledgeable regarding
industry trends and emerging technologies in anticipation of new processes
and system alterations, as well as to analyze and improve upon technology
standards across the organization to maintain a technological advantage
for teaching and learning.Qualifications   Minimum Qualifications
Experience includes leadership roles demonstrating a track record of technology
innovation, design, development, and implementation within healthcare. Typically,
this experience would include at least 10 years with organizational management,
process improvement successes, strong financial acumen, successes leading
complex contractual relationships, excellent understanding of customer behavior,
and keen insights regarding technology and business trends.
● Demonstrated success delivering customer-centric tools adding value to
the end uses while also anticipating internal operational needs and
delivering tools that result in value-added services to the organization.
● Proven success supporting GTM teams and working with rapid growth and
implementing change
● Strategic thinker and effective communicator offering expertise in
technological development and the demonstrated ability to implement and
execute organizationally.

Education:
BS or BA degree required
