Position Summary

Job Functions:

  • Team Leadership:

    • Lead a team of HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition professionals to deliver value-added services throughout the employee life cycle (hiring, onboarding, talent development and engagement initiatives, offboarding.)

    • Drive a high level of engagement on the team, building our culture, communicating effectively and supporting career growth.

    • Collaborate with HR Business Partners, HR COEs, Legal and various stakeholders globally to provide strategic consultation and support on organizational issues that contribute to the growth of the business.

  • Talent Acquisition:

    • Manage the Talent Acquisition team, taking a strategic approach to identifying, attracting and hiring high-caliber talent locally and globally.

    • Measure and report on Talent Acquisition analytics to learn and inform strategies and plans.

    • Collaborates with the business leaders to implement talent planning and reward programs that link with a progressive, well-tailored succession and organizational planning process.

    • Oversee complex matters related to candidate experience, interview and hiring practices.

  • Global HR Practices & Talent Development:

    • Create and deploy a global talent development strategy and toolkit.

    • Forge business partnerships with people leaders at every level of the organization by aligning our people strategy with the business vision and drivers of value and profitability.

    • Partner with the People Operations and Compensation & Benefits leaders to establish a global framework and collaborative delivery of the HR vision.

  • Culture, Compliance and Risk Management:

    • Set the example by exemplifying Scientific Game’s Values in all that you do and holding others accountable to do the same. Partner with leaders to ensure employee goals are aligned with the Vision, Mission and Values. 

    • Collaborate with legal counsel and People Operations to navigate complex employment issues, ensuring the organization's operations remain compliant and ethically sound across all jurisdictions.

    • Ensure compliance with international, federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipate legislation. This includes DOL changes, FLSA classification, unemployment documentation, audits, etc.

    • Establish best practices to ensure employee health and safety is our highest priority.

Qualifications

Position Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources or related field required

  • 10+ years’ Human Resources experience

  • 5+ years of people leadership experience

  • Experience leading a global team or overseeing a global function

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)

  • Experience with Human Resource Management software

  • Ability to create partnerships with business leaders and key stakeholders

  • Ability to develop and implement a global talent development strategy and corresponding tools

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills

  • Strong business acumen

  • Analytical and conceptual thinking skills: ability to support recommendations through data and analysis

  • Ability to influence and drive change, think strategically and operationally

  • Flexible, adaptable, intellectually curious

  • Self-motivated and able to manage, train and develop others
