About the role
We are searching for a Regional Pharmacist to join the team! The Regional Pharmacist will report directly to the Director of Pharmacy and support him/her in various aspects of pharmacy management as it relates to multiple value-based care contracts. The Regional Pharmacist will be responsible for supporting market field teams and practices in successful performance, as well as providing implementation and operational support of pharmacy products and initiatives.
The Regional Pharmacist will work directly with our payer partners to evaluate our performance, identify market needs and recommend solutions. The person in this role will also act as a pharmacy project manager and be responsible for identification of pharmacy cost saving opportunities, support of our medication adherence efforts, development of educational resources, pharmacy data analysis, operationalization of pharmacy products, and other administrative tasks as needed.

The Regional Pharmacist will work directly with our payer partners to evaluate our performance, identify market needs and recommend solutions. The person in this role will also act as a pharmacy project manager and be responsible for identification of pharmacy cost saving opportunities, support of our medication adherence efforts, development of educational resources, pharmacy data analysis, operationalization of pharmacy products, and other administrative tasks as needed.
Primary Duties:
- Pharmacy Performance - Evaluate market performance of medication adherence and statin measures primarily in the assigned markets. Communicate and interact directly with the field team to evaluate strategies to improve outcomes to meet quality measures.
- Create and organize clinical content updates for market board meetings and other executive level meetings to share out performance. This work is in collaboration with the pharmacy analysts in a standardized fashion.
- Collaborate with the Product team to develop content for the App related to pharmacy measures and cost.
- Attend Aledade internal meetings related to pharmacy, workgroups, and chronic disease states. Attend health plan meetings to ensure accurate data and develop partnerships with these groups to meet goals.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
- Completion of a pharmacy residency
- Strong communication skills with providers and other healthcare professionals.
- In depth knowledge of medication adherence, medication spend and pharmacy quality measures.
- Experience with analyzing pharmacy data and identification of gaps in care.
- Ability to organize and articulate pharmacy performance to market and senior leaders.
Preferred Key Skills and Abilities:
- Project management, value-based care and quality measures, analyzing data and creating strategies based on key takeaways.
- HSPA residency, Master’s degree
Physical Requirements:
- Sitting for prolonged periods of time. Extensive use of computers and keyboard. Occasional walking and lifting may be required.
