JOB PURPOSE
Lead and support data analytics, reporting enhancement, and information management activities for the assigned Business Unit. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect, validate, and analyze data, improve report design, and deliver insights that support informed business decisions.
Drive continuous improvement in reporting capabilities by standardizing frameworks, supporting automation, and promoting the use of AI agents and digital tools that reduce manual effort and improve the speed and consistency of insights.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Lead data collection, consolidation, and validation activities for key business unit reporting, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely availability of information for recurring and ad hoc analysis.
- Maintain and enhance recurring reports, scorecards, trackers, and dashboards by improving report structure, metric definitions, data quality checks, and overall usability for business stakeholders.
- Support leadership and cross-functional partners by responding to data and reporting requests, preparing analytical summaries, identifying trends and exceptions, and translating findings into clear, actionable insights.
- Identify, develop, and support automation opportunities that reduce manual reporting effort, improve cycle time, and strengthen consistency across data preparation, report generation, and distribution processes.
- Maintain organized reporting documentation, data dictionaries, process references, and version-controlled records to support transparency, repeatability, and effective knowledge sharing.
- Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes by standardizing inputs, simplifying workflows, improving metric alignment, and helping users understand reporting standards, definitions, and best practices.
- Support the evaluation and adoption of system enhancements, AI agents, and digital tools that strengthen data analysis, improve report accuracy, accelerate insight generation, and expand self-service reporting capabilities. • Including any other items at the Managers discretion
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
- Ensures recurring and ad hoc reports are delivered accurately, on time, and in a format that supports clear business understanding and effective decision-making.
- Identifies data quality issues, reporting gaps, and process risks early, and escalates critical items to management with recommended options for resolution and improvement.
- Demonstrates ownership, initiative, and accountability in maintaining reports, improving data processes, and advancing automation opportunities.
- Applies critical thinking and analytical reasoning apply to interpret data, investigate trends or exceptions, and develop practical reporting and process improvement solutions.
- Manages multiple reporting priorities effectively while balancing recurring deliverables, ad hoc requests, documentation needs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
WORK SCHEDULE/TRAVEL
- 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Occasional overnight travel (up to 20%) by land and/or air.
