Summary & Role Information:

We are looking for an execution-oriented “Early Talent” Project Manager who can assist in organizing, planning and execution of various Security Engineering tasks. The creation of an SAP Global Security and Cloud Compliance (SGSC) Security Engineering Center of Excellence remains a top priority within the company, presenting the opportunity to be in a key role, together with the support and empowerment needed to be successful. You will complete each day with a sense of pride and accomplishment, knowing that your contributions have made a positive impact to the security posture of the company.

As a Security Project Consultant within the team, you will plan, manage, and ensure execution of security projects within organization, as well as support the team to perform budget management-related activities. Your responsibilities will also cover various operational and administrative duties within the area of Security and Compliance. Additionally, you will have the chance to generate and own content within the project and enhance your knowledge about Security and Compliance.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

• Support the determination, definition, and socialization of project scope, objectives, and schedule
• Plan and source resources required to meet the objectives in an effective and efficient manner
• Consistently track project costs and project schedule to meet the budget needs and timelines
• Support visibility, transparency, and consistent communication across the organization to ensure timely escalations and dependencies management
• Identify project risks; collaborate with stakeholders to mitigate risks and avoid recurrence
• Support the management of vendor contracts and budgets

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• University degree preferred (STEM or Business Management including disciplines such as finance, supply chain, marketing)
• Basic knowledge of project management frameworks (PMP, SAFE, PMI, Agile)
• Openness to work with global, and virtual teams from different organizational areas within SAP
• Good inter-personal and communication skills in English (oral, written)
• Experience around promoting the team/organization goals and strategy using internal and external platforms alike.
• Experience in creating and improving processes, procedures and policies that are geared towards improved communications and customer relationships
• Previous experience working with C-level management is an advantage
• Basic general knowledge of security (to include cybersecurity) and compliance

WORK EXPERIENCE

• 2+ years of experience working in a team, preferable in a leadership capacity
• 2+ years of experience
