The flexible work environment allows you to choose your hours within a Monday to Friday schedule, promoting work-life balance while you make a meaningful difference in patients' recoveries. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to determine their physical capabilities, impairments, and limitations. Design and implement customized treatment plans through viable techniques such as exercise, manipulation, stretching, and the use of therapeutic equipment. Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment protocols based on the patient’s response and recovery path. Use evidence-based practices to recommend and implement assistive devices, facilitating self-care and mobility in daily activities. Provide patient education, as well as training to caregivers and families, on rehabilitation exercises and the use of any prescribed devices. Regularly engage in professional development activities to enhance technical skills and stay up-to-date with industry best practices and innovations. Patient Population / Client Focus This role primarily serves a diverse population of patients recovering from various conditions, including but not limited to post-surgical rehabilitation, sport-related injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain management. Our therapists work collaboratively to ensure that each individual's recovery path is tailored to their specific needs, enabling optimal therapeutic outcomes. Qualifications A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program. Current, valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on empathetic patient interaction. Proficiency in documentation and administrative tasks, including familiarity with electronic health record systems. A flexible attitude and the ability to adapt to varying patient needs and treatment environments. Preferred Experience While prior work experience in a clinical setting is preferred, new graduates are encouraged to apply; mentorship opportunities are available to facilitate professional growth. Experience with specific patient populations or therapeutic methods will be considered an asset, providing diversity in treatment approach. Compensation and Benefits The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
