Position Summary
Our manufacturing facility in Miami, Oklahoma, stands as a testament to the pet care industry's excellence. Nestled along the Historic Route 66 in northeast Oklahoma, near the borders of Kansas and Missouri, this facility has been producing a wide array of pet treat products and brands since its inception in 1997. With an unwavering commitment to quality and safety, our factory plays a pivotal role in serving a vast region as we drive the future of pet treat innovation. Within the production environment, you will work as a Packaging Associate to support production. Since safety is a top priority at Purina, much of your responsibility will focus on ensuring that our equipment and machinery remain in top-notch condition. Your ability to acclimate and problem solve quickly will be critically important as unforeseen equipment issues may arise throughout the normal operation day. The shifts available are 7:00AM-7:30PM or 7:00PM-7:30AM on a 2-2-3 schedule (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on). Must be open and available to work nights and/or weekends depending on position specified.

- Perform sanitation duties and material handling.
- Safely operates production and processing equipment.
- Perform quality checks and meet product specifications.
- Maintain a safe and clean workplace.
- Utilize computer technology and basic math skills to effectively perform job requirements.
- Occasionally will work at high heights within plant to fulfill job responsibilities.
- Work in facility environment that is not climate controlled.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 6+ months experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, military or related fast paced environment.
The approximate hourly pay for this position is $17.70 an hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
