Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) includes all engineering disciplines responsible for systems design & test within the entire portfolio of Raytheon products. Our engineers are responsible for every element of the development lifecycle for TEE including:

  • Test requirements

  • Test system design

  • Flight simulations

  • Hardware-in-the-loop

  • Computer-in-the-loop

  • Advanced engineering prototyping technology

  • Flight operations for manned and unmanned vehicles

  • Environmental testing

  • Environmental characterization

  • Engineering laboratory management

We are hands-on, designing with the latest technology and tools and integrating state-of-the-art test solutions with the most advanced engineering systems in the world.

The Test Environment Support Administration (TESA) team works with both leading-edge technologies and legacy systems to support multiple products and programs throughout Raytheon. TESA provides Test Equipment (TE) integration, security consultation, troubleshooting, sustainment, and compliance with the ultimate responsibility to maintain test integrity and the availability of our test systems. The important support you will provide to the team will help to ensure TESA maintains an efficient level of support to the programs we serve on a daily basis.

What You Will Do

You will be responsible for process and procedures development, contract estimates, data management, and project management, supporting the Test Environment Support Administration (TESA) team. Duties will also include assisting with educating TESA customers in the use of available products and system documentation updates.

  • Coordinate the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements/specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contracts

  • Interact with Program Managers, Chief Engineers, CPT/Directorate Leads, as well as other functional management to drive results to achieve program and business objectives

  • Coordinate with program leadership, finance, and planning to execute Earned Value Management (EVM)

  • Challenges addressed may be moderate to highly complex

  • Participate in center initiatives

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)

  • Minimum five (5) years’ relevant engineering experience

  • Experience with Windows operating systems in desktop environments

  • Experience with financial reporting activities, including Cost Account Management (CAM)

  • Experience with Excel, at an advanced level

  • Experience with oral and written communications and presentation skills, including the ability to write technical documents and informative narratives

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • DoD 8570.01m IAT II certified credentials (Sec+, CISM, CySA+, etc.)

  • Experience working in a DoD Special Access Programs environment

  • Experience with EVMS (Earned Value Management System or similar budget tracking system).

  • Experience with proposal capture processes (development of compliant Basis of Estimates, and White Sheet Development)

  • Estimate at Complete (EAC) process and Engineering Labor Forecasting (ELF) System

  • Excellent customer service and training skills, an understanding of
