Arthrex, Inc. is a global medical device company and a leader in new product development and medical education in orthopedics. The Software Quality Assurance Team, Santa Barbara California (ACT) is responsible for testing all software products created and delivered by the ACT Software Engineering group. We are searching for an intern pursuing a Software Quality Engineering degree(or similar) to support the Software Quality Assurance team at ACT. The successful candidate will create test cases, execute test cases, and document results for test case verification with guidance from the engineering staff. The individual will perform various tasks associated with software quality assurance and will be detail oriented in the execution and documentation of these test methods. The individual will also work within the requirements of their tasks to deliver results and communicate issues in a timely and accurate manner.
This internship will run from May 2024 – August 2024. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work 40 hours per week at our Santa Barbara, CA facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Run through test cases..

Partake in regression testing and team daily standups.

Automate test cases using our automation framework.

Find and report bugs using our bug reporting system.
- This is an in-office position located in Santa Barbara, CA; it is not a remote position.
Education and Experience:
Progress towards a college degree in a related field required, preferably in Computer Science. (Students who have recently graduated are only eligible to work as an intern/co-op up to six months from their graduation date.)
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
Basic to intermediate computer skills. Be able to follow written and verbal direction.
Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:
PC; Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; Word and Excel. Fax; Scanner.
