Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 8-1730, Tuesday OFF

 

Our clinic offers the unique opportunity to work in an educational setting.  Our doctors include residency doctors who are engaged in their 3 year residency training to become Family Physicians, as well as experienced Family Physician faculty, who are all part of the Waukesha Family Medicine Residency Program at ProHealth Care.  Medical students from the University of Wisconsin Medical School and Medical College of Wisconsin also rotate at our site.  The entire staff of the clinic is involved in the quality improvement and educational projects that create a learning community.  We serve a wide variety of patients, including typically underserved patients.

What You Will Do:

Functions within the scope of a Registered Nurse. Delivers appropriate nursing care and procedures in clinic setting. Performs nursing acts directed by a physician, physician assistant, or nurse practitioner. Provides patient triage, develops and monitors care management coordination processes, patient teaching, and patient follow-up when appropriate. Serves the needs of the patient panel of their Team. Acts as a resource for the clinic LPN/MA's and other ancillary professionals. Act as the resource for data gathering and assessment. Triage walk-in and call-in patients and provide appropriate direction to the patient. Participates in the teaching of residents and patients. 

 

Requirements: 

Associates in Nursing or above

RN license 

AHA BLS
