The Role: Product Manager, OEM Forecasting Solutions

The Impact: We are looking for a skilled Product Manger to oversee the development and management of our OEM forecasting solutions. The successful candidate will bridge the gap between forecast leaders, technical teams, and global, cross-functional customer planning stakeholders, ensuring that our products meet market demands and deliver significant customer value.

Responsibilities:

Product Strategy:

  • Develop a comprehensive product roadmap that aligns with the company’s strategic objectives and market needs.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify customer pain points, competitive products, and emerging trends in OEM planning, forecasting and workflows.

Product Development:

  • Lead cross-functional teams through the product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch.
  • Prioritize features, enhancements, and technical improvements based on customer needs, market trends, and internal goals.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Engage with internal commercial, forecast and management teams to gather requirements, validate concepts, and ensure product-market fit.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.

Performance Measurement:

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product performance and user satisfaction.
  • Utilize analytics and user feedback to inform product decisions and prioritize enhancements.

Go-to-Market Execution:

  • Develop in conjunction with our marketing team effective go-to-market strategies, including pricing, positioning, and promotional plans.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing sales support.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback and iteration on product features.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in automotive industry-related products.
  • Forecasting and/or enterprise software knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of OEM planning processes, tools, and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) is preferred.

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only): S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $105,387-$175,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.  This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
