Schedule:
Monday through Friday.

Work hours will depend on the business hours of the time zone serviced.

To the extent permitted by law, the Company may, in its sole discretion, change the work schedule to address business needs.


In This Role, You Will:
Be responsible for processing, verifying, and funding incoming sales finance contracts accurately and in a timely manner. Work closely with various departments to gather financial data, analyze funding needs, and ensure compliance with policy requirements and regulations.


Responsibilities and Essential Duties:
• Process funding for sales finance credit contracts and Home Improvement (HI) contracts received into application system ensuring contracts are complete, correct, and in compliance with company policy.
• Collaborate with CAO Underwriters to ensure all approval stipulations are met prior to funding.
• Complete ongoing audits of contracts for completeness of critical contract elements, flagging any discrepancies and notifying supervisor of significant errors during the contract audit process to troubleshoot and provide corrections.
• Review dealer files to verify information such as confirmation of valid business licenses, applicable dealer fees, and any special instructions prior to funding.
• Communicate regularly via email and phone with sales finance dealers to answer questions regarding contracts, clarify contract corrections, provide daily funding notices, and follow-up on outstanding contracts.
• Regularly review pending funding packets (applications, contracts, invoices, etc.) that have not funded for follow-up with the dealer/merchant to finalize and complete.
• Maintain accurate and complete records on sales finance packages processed and funded.
• Solicit and cross-sell other loan products at verification.
• Achieves consistent results by meeting or exceeding expected individual and department goals.
• Strictly comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws and provisions of states in which Mariner operates.
• Follow policies and procedures of the company. Stay informed of updates to company policy and promptly implement applicable changes.
• Handle inbound customer calls; quickly analyze customer situations and provide the most appropriate solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction and respect for customers’ time.
• May perform additional functions depending on demand and center staffing in order to provide consistent quality customer service.


Required Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) year of customer service experience with demonstrated success meeting deadlines.
• One (1) year of experience working within an office environment.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Professional, customer-focused attitude with the ability to effectively problem-solve, think quickly, and react calmly under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to communicate professionally and effectively, verbally and in writing, with customers, vendors, third parties, and all levels of company staff.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to learn financial services programs.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and prioritize tasks effectively to complete assigned duties/functions in a timely, accurate manner.
• Ability to pay close attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to be flexible and pivot among responsibilities while maintaining high-quality work.


Preferred Qualifications:
• Some college coursework.


Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to move about. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty (20) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
