This role emphasizes stakeholder management with business process owners, along with cross-team coordination using Jira and Jira Align to plan, track, and visualize configuration work across teams and program increments.
Responsibilities:
SAFe ART Facilitation & Cadence:
- Plan, organize, and facilitate SAFe ceremonies including PI Planning, ART Sync (Scrum of Scrums, PO Sync), System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt workshops, ensuring strong engagement from business and necessary clinical stakeholders.
- Maintain and communicate the ART calendar, iteration schedules, and key configuration milestones using Jira and Jira Align for alignment and transparency across all stakeholder groups.
Flow of Configuration Work, Risks & Dependencies:
- Use Jira and Jira Align to manage the flow of configuration requests, environment changes, tool configurations, and enablers; visualize cross-team dependencies and maintain accurate program boards and PI objectives.
- Proactively identify, communicate, and help resolve risks, issues, and impediments related to configuration changes, approvals, audits, and governance requirements, in close collaboration with stakeholders.
Stakeholder Management & Communication:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with operations teams, security, compliance, business process owners, architecture, and leadership to ensure alignment on configuration priorities, standards, scope, and outcomes.
- Prepare and present clear, data-informed status updates, dashboards, and program-level reports using Jira and Jira Align to support decision-making by senior stakeholders and provide visibility into configuration work progress, risks, and dependencies.
Coaching, Leadership & Continuous Improvement:
- Coach Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and configuration teams in SAFe, Lean-Agile principles, flow-based thinking, and effective use of Jira/Jira Align to improve predictability, transparency, and adherence to configuration standards.
- Drive continuous improvement through Inspect & Adapt activities, action plans, and follow-through, using metrics such as predictability, cycle time, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction to guide improvements in configuration management practices.

- 5+ years of experience in Agile environments with at least 2–3 years in program-level roles such as RTE, Senior Scrum Master, or Program Manager in a SAFe context, ideally supporting configuration, operations, or infrastructure-focused teams.
- Deep understanding of SAFe principles, roles, and events, with hands-on experience running PI Planning and driving execution across multiple Agile teams in a non-software-delivery context.
- Proven experience using Jira and Jira Align to manage configuration backlogs, PI objectives, dependencies, change requests, and program-level reporting.
- Demonstrated strength in stakeholder management across diverse groups including operations, security, compliance, business process owners, and technology leadership, with excellent facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong understanding of configuration management, change management, governance processes, and working within complex enterprise environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for teams, leaders, and executives across technical and non-technical audiences.
