About the role:
The Principal Financial Analyst acts as a Business Partner to Interventional Spine Management and Divisional Finance teams. This person will support the full Interventional Spine P&L, quarterly planning and forecasting processes, and provides monthly and quarterly reporting and analysis of spend. Position reports to the Sr. Finance Manager and has high visibility to the Interventional Spine leadership team, as well as interaction with other regional finance groups across the organization.

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Supports the annual and quarterly planning process for the functional areas of responsibility including coordinating with the various functional groups to develop operating expense and revenue forecasts while providing analytical support to identify key business drivers
- Analysis and submission of functional budgets
- Support decision-making process to enable profitable growth
- Support regular and adhoc reporting and presentations to management
- Develop and utilize sound financial processes
- Quickly respond to numerous ad hoc queries from internal customers
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field
- 7+ years of relevant FP&A experience
- MS Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with financial tools (Hyperion (Oracle), SAP)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong communication, organizational and prioritization skills
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to multi-task and set priorities/execute in a high-paced organization
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment, adhere to tight deadlines
- Team orientated
- Must have a process improvement mindset and strong problem-solving skills
