Our mission is simple: <strong>saving lives and restoring relationships </strong>by helping people get their lives back, and treating every individual with empathy and respect.</span></p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>POSITION SUMMARY:</strong> As a key member of the Northpoint team, the Therapist/Counselor will oversee the therapeutic services provided to a caseload of clients. This individual will act as the treatment plan coordinator for the multi-disciplinary team in the development and implementation of the master treatment plan and the discharge plan for each client. The Therapist/Counselor will provide individual, group and family therapy for assigned clients, as required by contractual and licensure obligations. This person will actively communicate with support staff, treatment teams, and outside agencies on treatment and safety issues pertaining to clients and their family members. The Counselor will complete all documentation associated with these duties in a professional and timely manner.</p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide counseling, assessments and group facilitation to individuals and families</li> <li>Coordinate all aspects of direct clinical care from admission to discharge</li> <li>Consult with the multidisciplinary treatment team to provide quality client care</li> <li>Provide orientation and education to clients, families and others to aid in the therapeut
