Position Summary

The Site Lead for the G3 C2 Digital and Simulation Support team is responsible for delivering Mission Command (MC) digital training, simulation-based instruction, and command and control (C2) expertise in support of the Maneuver Support Center of Excellence (MSCoE) G3 Training Instruction Branch. This position serves as the primary contract representative on site, ensuring all training, coordination, planning, and reporting requirements are met in full accordance with contract standards.The Site Lead manages daily operations, facilitates coordination with government personnel, oversees instructional support related to Mission Command systems, and ensures effective training event planning, execution, documentation, and data management.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Training and Mission Command Support

  • Provide Mission Command (MC) digital training capabilities and simulation-based training support to MSCoE

  • Deliver subject matter expertise (SME) for Command and Control (C2) systems, digital communications platforms, and warfighting function (WfF) integration

  • Support all Mission Command Systems (MCS) instruction and ensure alignment with training objectives and Army Mission Command doctrine

Coordination and Communication

  • Serve as the primary contract lead coordinating with government personnel, Small Group Leaders (SGLs), and training stakeholders.

  • Determine event requirements through planning sessions, In-Progress Reviews (IPRs), and coordination meetings.

  • Officiate planning sessions and provide back briefs to Government oversight within 2 business days.

  • Ensure SGL coordination on student group breakdowns, password creation, rosters, and other training dependencies

  • Maintain consistent communication through Teams, email, and SharePoint, courtesy copying Government oversight on all correspondence.

Scheduling and Event Support

  • Attend weekly meetings with Government oversight to discuss schedules, upcoming training (six weeks out), and event preparation requirements.

  • Support WfF SME requirements for all scheduled events as outlined in supporting exhibits

  • Track and respond to student Requests for Information (RFIs) related to MDMP or Mission Command instruction; log all RFIs in SharePoint within 10 business days after each event.

Data Management and Documentation

  • Conduct monthly data backups and disaster recovery operations before the last day of each month; report issues to Government site lead within 4 hours.

  • Maintain data integrity and ensure availability of all training-related systems.

  • Submit proposed lesson plan updates within 20 business days; implement updates only after Government approval

Leadership and Oversight

  • Ensure contract compliance across all assigned training, administrative, and reporting tasks.

  • Provide direction and support to contractor personnel supporting Mission Command instruction and simulation activities.

  • Promote a professional, collaborative working environment, ensuring seamless integration with MSCoE training operations

Mission Command Expertise

  • Apply deep understanding of the Mission Command Warfighting Function, including the integration of processes enabling commanders and staff to balance the art of command and the science of control

  • Assist in integrating Mission Command systems and processes across all relevant warfighting functions during training events

Education & Experience Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting Army Mission Command Systems and digital training environments

  • Strong understanding of the Army’s Mission Command Warfighting Function and MDMP

  • Experience coordinating with military training organizations, SGLs, and government oversight

  • Proficiency with collaboration platforms including MS Teams, SharePoint, and email-based coordination

  • Ability to lead contract personnel and manage complex training schedules.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to produce professional back briefs and documentation
