About the role

POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Manager Enterprise Asset Management manages the systems in place and is responsible for maintaining the systems roadmap for Republic Services’ maintenance software. The incumbent leads the implementation of new hardware and software across the enterprise to support maintenance operations. The Senior Manager Enterprise Asset Management also serves as the key business partner to the Fleet and Field Maintenance teams, working collaboratively with them to enhance the ability of the organization to meet or exceed its Maintenance goals.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leads effort to identify opportunities to automate, centralize, and simplify processes, including improvements through technology or system-related enhancements.

  • Participates in, and will lead, complex projects across various departments and/or field operations, involving various stakeholders.

  • Develops and implements the tactical and long-term maintenance systems roadmap in conjunction with IT.

  • Maintains an understanding of program requirements on a 1, 3, and 5-year horizon

  • Responsible for system onboarding new acquisitions and lines of business, working closely with the Integrations team on data and process requirements

  • Works with internal and external stakeholders to determine needs and requirements.

  • Responsible for system/tool optimization and support.  Leads team responsible for configuration, administration of maintenance systems and end-user support. Collaborates with cross functional leaders to maintain knowledge of and integrate systems and/or tools outside of

  • Maintenance, e.g. procurement and financial systems.  Leads and conducts process mapping for critical organizations.

  • Coaches and develops a team of professionals to assist in their development and attainment of necessary skills to lift performance. Monitors staff performance and drives performance improvement initiatives and ensures that service levels meet or exceed agreed upon standards.

  • Performs other non-essential duties as assigned or may be necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strategic thinking, strong interpersonal and top-end analytical skills.

  • Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, or Lean Sigma experience.

  • Demonstrated project and/or program management experience.

  • Ability to recognize and consider inter-dependencies between customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders and operate effectively within a matrix environment.

  • Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally, with customers and stakeholders to build strong internal and external relationships while maintaining a high sense of urgency and customer focus.

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects or tasks with varying and sometimes competing timelines.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance, or Accounting - preferred.

  • Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance, or Accounting - preferred.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 10 years of Operations and/or equivalent experience (i.e. IT, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, Accounting, Transportation, etc.).
