O&M Manager of Renewables

ProStar Energy, a Crete United Company, knows the ins and outs of alternate energy possibilities, regulations and standards. From initial assessment to installation and maintenance, we work together to find opportunities for energy savings and implement renewables where it makes sense.
Our renewable energy team is expanding and looking to add an O&M Manager of Renewables based out of our Frisco, TX office. Ideal Candidates will have experience executing and managing contracts, oversee monitoring of operating systems, and ensuring a smooth handoff from commissioning to the operation phase of the project.
- Managing O&M contracts and subcontracts for commercial solar projects.
- Managing preventive maintenance visits to project sites.
- Troubleshooting solar projects and dispatching service technicians.
- Managing profit-and-loss from O&M business.
- Creating O&M proposals and supporting sales team to offer O&M services to clients
- Negotiating O&M contracts and subcontracts
- SREC management
- Manage system commissioning, monitoring setup, and turnover from construction to Operations.
- Remote monitoring of active solar projects.
- Establishing ProStar as a leading solar O&M provider.
- Client relationship management.
- The Manager, Renewables O&M (SME: Solar Commissioning, O&M, and Monitoring) is a member of the Renewables Team and reports to the Sr. VP, Renewables.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, sustainability, energy, or related field (BSEE/BSME).
- 3+ years of solar industry experience required
- Certifications/Licenses: NABCEP PV Board Certification(s) Preferred
- Proficient with monitoring software platforms (AlsoEnergy, SolarEdge, etc.) among others.
- Vast network of technicians and installers
- Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) with particular emphasis on Excel and the ability to create models as needed.
- Success at consistently achieving goals as an individual and a team.
- Demonstrate high business acumen, strong interpersonal skills, best-in-class communication in all forms, and organization skills.
- Able to engage with and present to C-level executives and below.
- Handle multiple tasks, prioritize goals, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Track record of conducting business that coincides with ProStar’s company mission.
- Able to work nights and weekends as business requires and travel an estimated fifteen percent (15%) of time.
