Associate Territory Specialist- Textile Care

Join Ecolab's industry leading Textile Care team as an Associate Territory Specialist.You will work closely with experienced Ecolab associates to build the knowledge and skills needed to develop, service, and manage a territory of chain laundry accounts.  In each of these situations, the Associate Territory Specialist is the primary customer contact, and their success depends not only on the ability to support Ecolab’s line of Textile Care laundry products, but also on the ability to provide each customer with prompt, personal, and reliable customer service aligned to the chain contract.

What You Will Do: 

• Plan and execute route to maximize effectiveness and productivity 

• Grow territory by consistently exceeding sales budget and controlling expense budget 

• Plan, prepare, and demonstrate highly effective sales, service, and time management skills 

• Provide superior customer service to all customer accounts by building rapport with key customer contacts and decision makers 

• Develop knowledge of Ecolab resources and communicate effectively with associates at all levels of the organization 

•  Install and perform minor electrical, mechanical, and plumbing repairs as needed (Note: Approximately 35-40% of calls require installation, with the remainder of calls requiring repair or preventative maintenance of equipment, in addition to sales) 

• Learn to implement strategic plans for completing calls with existing chain customers; adjust plans to accommodate changing priorities and urgent requests 

• Manage schedule/workload to ensure commitments are delivered on time and respond effectively to changes to ensure compliance standards are met 

• Prepare and present recommendations to key decision makers for products, processes and programs with a compelling business case 

Territory/Location Details: 

• This position is based in the Dallas, TX area 

• Territory covers about a 300-mile radius of the surrounding area 

• Targeted accounts within the laundry industry

• 50% overnight travel required

Minimum Qualifications: 

• High School Diploma or equivalent 

• 2+ years of relevant work or military experience 

• 1+ year of applied mechanical problem-solving experience (i.e., plumbing, electrical or mechanical troubleshooting experience)
