Arthrex, Inc. is a global medical device company leader in new product development and medical education in orthopedics. The Corporate Security team is actively seeking a Corporate Security Analyst who will be responsible for monitoring information from various sources to proactively identify and assess potential risks that could impact Arthrex and its business operations. They will also effectively monitor social media, travel plans/destinations, and events for potential threats to the security of the business. The candidate will possess strong skills in advanced analytical and investigative techniques to create tailored intelligence products. This position will involve close collaboration with Executive Protection, GSOC operations, special event security and various business departments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for monitoring all-source information to proactively identify and assess risks and threats that could impact people, assets, and reputation of Arthrex.
- Conduct detailed assessments on threat actors and maintain databases.
- Conduct security/threat assessments for executive protection details and provide support and guidance as needed to executive protection team.
- Conduct security/threat assessments for special events and provide guidance and support to special events security team.
- Deliver effective, intelligence driven services by collecting and analyzing open-source intelligence as well as mitigating risk and delivering written and verbal reports.
- provide analytical intelligence related tasks including country assessments, the assessment of risks and threats, social media monitoring, analyzing the risk profile of multiple executives, global events and will work closely with cross functional entities as needed.
- Research, analyze, and author intelligence assessments using both internal and open-source materials to produce and distribute intelligence products.
- Manage travel security program analyzing risk ratings and providing briefings and assistance to international travelers as needed.
- Monitors global environment for potential security threats to company personnel, sites and business operations.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma required. A college degree is preferred.
- Five (5) years demonstrated experience in threat assessment, violence risk assessment, and/or managing response to high-risk reports or crisis situations.
- Proficiency in open-source intelligence techniques (OSINT).
- Knowledge of violence risk factors and behaviors associated with targeted violence.
- Must possess advanced skills and experience in collecting and analyzing large quantities of data to produce assessments, publications, and reports
- Demonstrated strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to conduct multi-source investigations in collecting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data.
- Solid understanding of core physical security risks and threats, and experience in developing effective and measurable programs in an international setting
- Demonstrated knowledge of physical security principles and threat/risk analysis methodology.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
Detailed knowledge and implementation experience with state-of-the-art electronic security and surveillance systems.
Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:
Advanced computer skills required.
