Job Overview
As a Production Supervisor at Mainspring Energy you will serve as a leader to deliver on test support requests, prototype builds and assembly retrofits that further our exciting and unique product. You will build and supervise a cohesive group of Production Associates and through positive engagement of your coworkers you will ensure that we accelerate our Upgrades build efforts and deliver on our plan.

Responsibilities

• At our fast paced Upgrades facility in Menlo Park you will be heavily involved in applying the latest engineering changes to our product and will be hands-on in delivering on the production and O&M support schedule through teamwork. Key responsibilities include:
• Setting and achieving daily/weekly/monthly O&M support and production deliverables to meet schedule demand
• Monitor key process indicators to resolve issues before they impact company milestones
• Work hand-in-hand with Technical Operations team members to coordinate and optimize production workflow
• Provide direction and leadership to Upgrades associates
• Identify opportunities and drive solutions to improve efficiency
• Actively pursue the resources needed to ensure your team’s success
• Work collaboratively with the Upgrades leadership team to balance resources and achieve team goals
• Above all ensure a safe work environment is maintained at all times through active monitoring and through constant solicitation of continuous improvement ideas

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of supervisory experience in an Upgrades / manufacturing environment
• Experience in setting up manufacturing processes as well as identifying and monitoring key process indicators
• Working knowledge and experience in applying Lean manufacturing concepts and tools
• Minimum High School Diploma; Bachelor’s Degree in a technical engineering or relevant field is preferred
• Must be an effective communicator with solid collaboration and interpersonal skills and proven success working cross functionally at all levels
• Comfortable using Google or Microsoft documents and spreadsheets or equivalent.
