Role and Responsibilities:

Prepare meals for inpatient/outpatient clients (includes prep, date stickers, pulling frozen food).
Clean equipment according to cleaning schedule.
Follow directions on daily client census for meal planning.
Complete food service inspections to ensure safe handling of products.
Vigilantly ensure stockroom, freezer, and coolers are properly organized.
Rotate all stock by date system.
Stock food according to Serve Safe Standards.
Follows all DHH and CARF standards and guidelines.
Completes all required monthly Relias training.
Other duties as determined by the Facility Administrator and/or the Program Director.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Must possess High School Diploma or GED.
Possess state approved Food Handlers Certification.
Possession of knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations and processes relating to food preparation and safety.
Satisfactory drug screen and background check.

Salary Range: Salary ranges from $12.00 to $12.73 an hour. The salary of the candidate(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, experience, education, specialty, and training. Here is what you can expect from us:
