Experienced Insurance Agent

Runkles is seeking an experienced, client-focused Insurance Agent to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a licensed professional who excels at building lasting relationships, advising clients on the right coverage, and driving both new business and retention. You’ll play a key role in supporting our community by delivering tailored insurance solutions while contributing to the continued growth of the agency.

    Client Relationship Management

    • Serve as a trusted advisor to new and existing clients, understanding their needs and recommending appropriate coverage
    • Build and maintain long-term relationships through proactive communication and high-quality service
    • Conduct regular policy reviews to ensure clients remain properly protected as their needs evolve
    • Sales & Business Development

      • Generate new business through referrals, networking, and community engagement
      • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities across personal and/or commercial lines
      • Meet or exceed individual sales and retention goals
      • Policy & Account Management

        • Quote, bind, and service policies across multiple carriers
        • Explain coverage options, exclusions, and pricing clearly to clients
        • Manage renewals, endorsements, and policy changes in a timely and accurate manner
        • Claims Support & Advocacy

          • Assist clients through the claims process, providing guidance and ensuring timely resolution
          • Act as a liaison between clients and carriers to support positive outcomes
          • Compliance & Documentation

            • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in agency systems
            • Ensure all activities meet state regulations and carrier guidelines

Qualifications

    • Active Pennsylvania Property & Casualty license required
    • 3+ years of experience in an insurance agency or brokerage environment
    • Proven track record of client retention and/or new business production
    • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
    • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively
    • Proficiency with agency management systems and Microsoft Office
    • Spanish speaking a plus
