Accounting Administrator

Job Details:

Hours to be determined at a later date.

TM primary responsibilities will be a floater or utility type position and may include cross training with accounting clerks in various areas of accounting department, learning, and performing various accounting tasks including scale house tasks, yields reporting, packaging, time and attendance, and general office functions.   Position may also include carrying out cash sales responsibilities, calculating and building weekly and monthly reports; assisting with accounts payable functions; and other duties as assigned by members of management.  Must be able to work as a team within the accounting department to carry out the mission of the company.

Requirements:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent is required. Higher education in the accounting field and 10-key (keyboard/adding machine) proficiency are preferred

Minimum of basic computer skills, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel is required.  Must have the ability to read and complete reports and required paperwork.  Must be able to work independently with little to no direct supervision. 

Excellent verbal communication skills are required. 

Applicant will be expected to cross-train in other areas of the accounting department to provide vacation and sick coverage.
