The Senior Accounting Manager will be responsible for leading, managing, and directing the revenue cycle operations and other key accounting and financial reporting areas at HeartFlow. This role is responsible for ensuring the integrity of global revenue accounting by providing leadership, accounting expertise and business sense. The responsibilities include customer contract reviews, revenue recognition policy application, timely and efficient customer billing, collections, monthly revenue close, account reconciliations, reporting and analysis, and audit support.

Work cross functionally with Finance, Sales, Sales Operations, Legal and various business owners on policies, processes, and programs, and help drive key system initiatives and improvements to underpin our revenue recognition and other processes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review monthly journal entries and account reconciliations, account analysis and related supporting work papers. 
  • Supervision of the monthly financial close process and adhere to reporting timelines.
  • Supervision of the daily accounting processes, which will include accounts payable processing and payments, employee expense report review and payments, billing, revenue recognition and cash and bank transactions and related reconciliations and fixed assets.
  • General ledger maintenance.
  • Supporting the annual audit process by preparing supporting information for auditors and assisting the Controller in preparing the annual financial statements, account analysis and flux explanations.
  • Supporting the accounting organization in any other policies, projects and tasks as and when needed.

Skills Needed:

  • Team player with demonstrated ability and motivation to work collaboratively and communicate effectively across functions and teams.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, highly detailed, organized, and able to handle multiple competing deadlines and prioritize workload.
  • Strong, professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Displays strong analytical abilities both quantitative and qualitative.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle matters with little supervision and with excellent follow up.

Educational Requirements & Work Experience:

  • Degree in accounting, finance.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an accounting lead role, including supervision of staff.
  • Hands on experience on NetSuite is necessary.
  • Experience in multi-company and multi-currency.
