Griffin Memorial Hospital is recruiting for compassionate, dedicated nursing professionals - help us make a difference in the lives of all Oklahomans. Responsibilities include:
- Providing technical direct and indirect nursing care in a hospital under the supervision or direction of a registered nurses or licensed physician.
- Offering health care to patients, experiencing severe emotional disorder(s)/psychiatric illness or substance abuse.
- Performing crisis intervention and works collaboratively with Psychiatrists, Therapists, and other Nurses.
- Preparing medication and distributing on the unit.
Job Type/Salary:
- 8 hour shifts
- Annual Salaries:
- Level III: $60,000 / $28.846154 hourly
- Level II: $55,000 / $26.442308 hourly
- Level I: $50,500 / $24.278846 hourly
- Stacking Shift Differentials: $3.00 for evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Primary Working Hours are:
- 6:30a – 3p (Day Shift)
- 2:30p -11p (Evening Shift)
- The FLSA Status is Non-Exempt for this Position.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Level III: Possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a licensed practical nurse as approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing and three years of practical nursing experience.
- Level II: Possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a licensed practical nurse as approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing and one year of practical nursing experience.
- Level I:Possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a licensed practical nurse as approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing.

Special Requirements:
- Upon a conditional offer of employment, Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services applicants must submit to a physical examination and shall meet the physical examination requirements of occasionally lifting/carrying 50 pounds and able to push and pull a maximum force of 25 pounds.
- Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver’s license.
