Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the Mountain View Technical Center in Mountain View, CA three times per week, at minimum.
Role: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Manager ADAS Fleet
Operations to lead GM Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) testing
and deployment initiatives across multiple markets. This individual will
oversee large-scale fleet operations, drive cross-functional collaboration with
engineering and executive teams, and ensure the safe and efficient scaling
of ADAS programs from R&D to product launch. The ideal candidate will have
a proven track record of operational leadership in autonomous systems,
excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to build and scale
high-performing teams in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
What You'll Do:
Lead planning and execution of fleet operations for GM ADAS development across Test Operators, Operations Managers/Coordinators, Technicians and Incident Management.
Drive priorities and develop operational strategies across diverse markets, ensuring alignment with company goals and engineering requirements.
Work cross-functionally across engineering (hardware, software, tooling, cloud services, etc.), safety, legal, training, to drive issues to resolution, ensure fleet is operating safely, and regulatory protocols are met.
Lead safety case evaluations and incident response strategies.
Define and meet performance KPIs and initiate efficiency improvements.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):
10+ years of experience in operations, preferably in autonomous vehicles, robotics, or transportation technology.
Proven experience leading large-scale testing and deployment programs across multiple markets.
Strong people management skills with experience building and scaling large field operations teams.
Experience in AV safety protocols, regulatory considerations, and R&D testing workflows.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, including executive-level reporting.
Strong project/program/product management fundamentals.
Experience with data dashboards, KPIs, and operational analytics.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications):
15+ years of experience in operations, preferably in autonomous vehicles, robotics, or transportation technology.
Hands on experience with automotive and/or software product development and operations, ideally in an AV domain
Successfully delivering products from concept through launch.
On the ground experience scaling vehicle operations
Compensation: The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The compensation may not be representative for positions located outside of New York, Colorado, California, or Washington.
The salary range for this role is $198,000 to $303,400. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
