Position: Senior Mortgage Servicing Specialist 

Position Location: Madison, WI (hybrid, two days a week in the corporate office) 

 

Job Summary:

 

Join our team as a Senior Mortgage Servicing Specialist and play a key role in ensuring our New York loan portfolio performs at its best. You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining NY-specific servicing policies, providing expert support, and driving operational efficiency.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and update comprehensive servicing policies and procedures tailored to New York regulations.
• Provide expert guidance on loss mitigation, default management, and general servicing practices.
• Manage first payment collections and analyze loan default performance to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Create and implement loan-level default action plans and remedies.
• Handle complex customer escalations, conduct complaint research, and provide timely resolutions.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews and contribute to special projects.

What You'll Bring:

• 5+ years mortgage servicing experience. 
• Expertise in default management, loss mitigation, and loan modifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced and changing environment.
• Deep understanding of mortgage lending terms, and processes.
