About the Role

• Oversee the development of estimates, bid documents, and levelling of returns during the design stage of projects. 
• Coordinate & development of ongoing estimates and value engineering exercises as required. 
• Review and check all design team members invoices and recommend payment as appropriate. 
• Attend on-site requisition meeting to review the value of construction work completed. 
• Review final construction requisitions and recommend payment as appropriate. 
• Oversee the review of all requested change orders, evaluate, and make recommendations. 
• Develop monthly cost reports for clients. 
• Provide client and design team members with accurate costs for items to allow decisions to be made while keeping projects on budget. 

Job Requirements

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field and 7 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a cost management-related occupation.
