About the Position

We are seeking a full-time Assistant Manager in Receiving to join our Food and Beverage team. You’ll get the opportunity to foster a culture of creating memorable experiences for members and their guests. Our ideal candidate will have strong organizational and collaborative skills and can accurately process all receivable goods and invoices within Receiving. You’ll have prior knowledge of logistic analysis and experience managing a small team.

What You’ll Do

  • Meet the delivery trucks and ensure all ordered items are accounted for and in good condition. If there is any discrepancy, you’ll work with the vendor to resolve the issue.
  • Maintain proper rotation (First in First Out - FIFO) of products and food safety and sanitization (i.e. awareness of product shelf life).
  • Train, maintain, and exceed standards of service; motivate staff to maximize performance, ownership, and accountability.
  • Coordinate the delivery of products to the various outlets.
  • Collaborate with other team members, following established guidelines to develop recipes and menus, considering such factors as seasonal availability of ingredients and business volume.
  • Ensure accuracy of inventory requests and invoices prior to submitting, fulfilling, issuing and/or accepting.
  • Lead an inventory count team to ensure that physical counts are accurate, and that data encompasses assigned locations; participate in physical counts, measures, and data entry.
  • Coordinate and participate in regular monthly inventory processes up to and including counting and measuring products as well as data entry of inventory amounts.

Requirements

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience required.
  • Hospitality or restaurant experience preferred.
  • Possess a Florida driver’s license in good standing with an acceptable official driving record.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements: standing, walking, and carrying up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely operate a maintenance cart and licensed motor vehicle.
  • Must be able to work outside in various weather conditions for certain periods of time.

Education

  • Minimum high school diploma/GED or equivalent.
  • Any combination of education, training, and work experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described.
  • Approved ServeSafe food handler certification preferred.
